MusAfrica Namur

MusAfrica Namur celebrates its reopening with a festive weekend on April 19 and 20, 2025.
To mark the occasion, the museum opens its doors for you to discover — or rediscover — its spaces dedicated to the richness and diversity of African cultures.

On the program: a wide range of activities for all ages – writing workshops on identity, African storytelling, traditional dance and music from Burkina Faso, Congo, and Burundi, as well as creative art workshops for children.

Don't miss the fascinating lecture on the famous Ishango Bone, featuring a special guest appearance by Dora Muanda live from Kinshasa.

Throughout the weekend: enjoy a special second-hand book sale focused on Africa, a face-painting corner for kids, plus a bar and light refreshments on-site.
